Landscaping & Groundworks
Everything your garden needs, all under one team.
Six core services — from the groundwork beneath your patio to the last stitch of planting — handled by one qualified Bristol-based team. No subcontractor chains. No dropped standards.
Hard Landscaping
01
Patios & Paving
Natural stone, porcelain and sandstone patios laid on a proper sub-base — built for decades, not seasons.
A patio is only as good as what's underneath it. We lay every slab on an MOT Type 1 compacted sub-base with a geotextile membrane, correct falls for drainage, and full mortar bed. No dot-and-dab. No shortcuts.
We work with the best materials — Indian sandstone, porcelain, limestone, slate and imported natural stone — and finish every joint cleanly. Years later, yours will still be sitting flat.

Driveways
Block paving, resin-bound and tarmac driveways with proper structural foundations and correct drainage.
Driveways have to handle weight, weather and years of tyre turn — which means they need more than a nice surface. We dig to depth, compact the sub-base properly, install drainage that actually drains, and lay with the correct falls and kerbing.
Whether you want a traditional block paved drive, a sleek resin-bound finish or durable tarmac, we'll help you choose what works for your budget, house style and usage.

Boundaries
03
Fencing
Fencing solutions including larch lap, featheredge, Durapost systems and panel fencing — strength and style across every run.
Fences fail at the post. That's why we use Durapost steel-core systems on exposed runs — they won't rot, won't snap in a gale, and still look like traditional timber. For sheltered boundaries, properly concreted timber posts with quality panels will last you years.
We handle everything from a single panel replacement to a full garden boundary, and we replace, dispose of and reset old posts cleanly.
- Larch lap panels
- Featheredge fencing
- Durapost steel-core systems
- Closeboard & hit-and-miss
- Concrete posts where needed
- Clean old-post removal
Soft Landscaping
04
Turfing & Artificial Grass
Fresh-cut turf or premium artificial grass, laid on properly prepared ground — no dips, no patches, no weeds.
Proper ground preparation is the secret to a good lawn. We remove old turf, level and amend the soil, add a weed membrane where needed, and lay either premium cut turf or top-grade artificial grass with secure edging.
Artificial is increasingly popular with busy families and low-maintenance gardens — modern grass looks genuinely natural and holds up brilliantly to kids and dogs.

Timber Work
05
Decking
Traditional timber and composite decking, raised or ground-level, with bespoke framing and secure fixings.
Composite decking has taken over for good reason — it looks superb ten years in, needs almost no maintenance, and comes in finishes from coastal grey to rich walnut. We also still build in hardwood for clients who love the natural timber look.
Every deck is framed to take the load, levelled properly, and finished with clean edges, risers and steps where the ground demands it.

Garden Design
Full garden design from our degree-qualified designers — spaces drawn for how you actually live.
A properly designed garden works harder. Our designers take your brief, your budget and your site, and come back with plans that balance what you want now with what'll still feel right in ten years.
We handle everything in-house — design, hard landscaping, soft planting, lighting and installation — so there's no coordination gap between what was planned and what gets built.

Clean handover
Tidy site every day, full clean at the end. Enjoy it the day we leave.
One team, one quote, the full project.
Most clients need more than one thing — a new patio needs drainage and planting, a driveway often comes with fresh fencing, a full garden redesign pulls half our services together at once.
Because we handle everything in-house, you get one coordinated quote, one project timeline, and one team accountable for the whole job. No gaps, no passing the buck.
What clients ask us most.
The practical questions we get before most projects start.
Can you handle multiple services in one project?
Yes — this is where we really add value. Most of our projects combine two or three services (patio + fencing + turf is very common). Because it's all handled in-house, you get one coordinated quote and timeline, not a juggling act between contractors.
How do you quote — fixed price or day rate?
All our quotes are fixed-price, line-by-line written documents based on a free site visit. You know exactly what's included, what materials we're using and what the final figure is before we lift a shovel.
What areas do you cover for each service?
All services cover Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire as standard — Portishead, Nailsea, Clevedon, Thornbury, Yate, Weston-super-Mare and Bath all included. For larger multi-service projects further afield, get in touch.
Do I need planning permission for any of this?
Most domestic landscaping — patios, fencing under 2m, standard driveways, decking — doesn't need permission. There are exceptions (front driveways altering drop-kerbs, listed buildings, certain conservation areas) and we'll flag them during the site visit so you know where you stand.
How long from quote to completed project?
Depending on the service and our current schedule, typically 2–6 weeks from acceptance of quote to project start. Single-service jobs (a patio, a fence run) usually take 5–14 days on-site. Full garden redesigns can run 3–6 weeks depending on scope.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes — all hard landscaping comes with a written workmanship guarantee. Material warranties (Durapost, composite decking, porcelain) are manufacturer-backed and we pass those directly to you.
Let's plan your project.
Free site visit, honest quote, no obligation. Whichever service — or combination of services — you've got in mind.
